WINTER BLUES

PROGRAMS NEEDED
Jasc Paintshop Pro or Corel Paint Program Settings may vary slightly.
PLUGINS: Xenoflex 2 Constellations
You must have a good working knowledge of the programs I use.

ITEMS NEEDED
TUBE: Keith Garvey Explicit I purchased it at MPT but you can buy it HERE
KIT: Linda’s Dream Designs PTU can purchase it HERE
MASK: Weescotslass Wsl_Mask 130 HERE (Included inMy Supplies)
FONT: Aunt Bertha found HERE (Include in My Supplies)
MY SUPPLIES: HERE
If you choose a different kit re-sizing may change.


READ BELOW BEFORE STARTING
Settings may differ slightly depending on your version.
Close original after you copy it unless I state otherwise.
Sharpen all re-sized items 1 time.
RE-SIZE only one layer unless other wise stated.
Refer to my image for placement of items.
Left click and right click refers to mouse buttons.


First unzip the font to your font folder. Open your Tube, mask minimize them for now..

1. Open a new transparent image 700X650 Selections/Select All. Select paper 1 from The Kit. Edit/copy, Edit/paste into selections. Selections/select none.

2. On your Toolbar Select layers New Mask Layer/from Image Select the mask in the window. source luminance/checked Invert mask data/unchecked.

3. In your layers palette do the following Right click black/white mask layer Delete/click yes When the window Pops up select Yes Right click mask layer Merge/merge group. Now re-size this mask layer 115% Do not apply drop shadow.

4. Add a new Raster Layer Selections/Select all. Select paper 6 from the kit, Edit/edit copy, Edit/paste into selection. Selections/select none.

5. On your Toolbar Select layers New Mask Layer/from Image Select the mask in the window. source luminance/checked Invert mask data/unchecked

6. In your layers palette do the following Right click black/white mask layer Delete/click yes When the window Pops up select Yes Right click mask layer Merge/merge group.

7. Still on your mask layer Effects/3D/drop shadow Apply settings below.
Vertical and horizontal 1
Opacity 70
Blur 5.00
color black
Shadow on new layer not checked
Now right click on the top mask Layer in your layers palette merge/merge down into your bottom mask layer.

8. Select Frame 1 from the kit, Edit/copy, Edit/paste as new layer into your image. Re-size it 85%. Apply same drop shadow. Make sure your frame is centered in your mask.

9. Still on your frame layer Select your magic wand (settings below) click inside the frames window. don’t forget the small section at the bottom. Selections/modify expand 10.

10. Add a New raster layer under your frame. Select paper 10 from the kit, Edit/copy, Edit/paste into selection. Selections/select none.

11. Select the Doodle from the kit, Edit/copy, Edit/paste as new layer into your image under your frame Layer. . Arrange it on the right side of your frame slightly behind the frame. Duplicate the doodle 1 time. Image/mirror the duplicate. Do not Re-size, Do not add a drop shadow

12. Close off your frame and merged mask layer Right click top doodle layer/merge/ merge visible. Right click on the merged layer Rename it Glitter

13. Select your Tube Edit/copy, Edit/paste as new layer into your image. Under your Frame. Re-size if needed. I re-sized my tube 85% Apply Same drop shadow. Select your eraser tool erase any parts of your tube that is showing outside of the frame.

14. Still on your tube Layer Duplicate it. In your layers palette drag this layer above your frame. Select your eraser tool and erase any parts of the tube hiding the bottom part of your frame.

15. Select Eyelet Bow2 from the kit Edit/copy, Edit/paste as new layer into your image. Re-size it 30%. Move it to the middle right side of your frame. Duplicate it. Image/mirror your duplicate. Arrange it so that it is over the frame. Refer to my image.

16. Using your dropper tool Left click foreground/right click background Select a dark color from your image I used dark blue.

17. Now Select your Eclipse tool circle change the line width to 3. Close off your background color draw out your circle around your image as close to head of your tube or Frame size on bottom of tool bar should read 466x466 or near there. Objects/align/center in canvas. Do not convert to raster.

18. Now click on your Text tool (settings below)

19. Open your background color back up. place your mouse on your circle till you see A with the Circles (image below). Type Out Winter Blues. Drag your nodes out or upwards to size the text. In your layers palette click on the plus sign on the layer. Click on the eye next to the layer that shows your circle. Now right click convert to raster layer. Place the text at the top of your image.

19. Still on your Text layer. On your Toolbar under selections tab do all of the following..
A. select all,
B. select float.
C. Select defloat.
D modify expand 3

20. Add a New raster layer under your text layer Select white in your foreground color and flood fill the selection on the new layer. Selections/Select none. Select your Original Text layer and apply drop shadow.

21. With Same Text settings type out your name use your nodes to size it. Repeat Steps 19 and 20. Place your name at the bottom of you image.

22. Apply your copyrights and watermarks. Close off the glitter and merged mask layers (bottom layers). Right click any open layer merge/merge visible. You should now only have 3 layers. Re-size/all layers/smart size to 400.

23. Duplicate your Layer named Glitter 1 time.

24. On your Duplicated Glitter apply Effects/plugins/Xenoflex/Constellations (settings below) Close off this layer by clicking on the eye in your layers palette.

25. Select the Original Glitter Layer (bottom) Apply the Xenoflex again but this time click the random seed button one time.

ANIMATION (open your Animation Shop)

1. In Psp Copy Merged

2. Take it to Animation Shop
right click/Paste as new animation


3. Back in Psp Close the Duplicate Glitter Layer (top)
Open the Bottom Glitter Layer Edit/copy merged


4. Back in Animation shop
Right click first frame paste/paste after current Frame.


5. Now to save your animation
