Close original after you copy it unless I state otherwise.

 Re-size only one layer

Sharpen after Each Re-size.

Left click and right click refers to mouse buttons.

Refer to my image for placement of items.

Now Lets Start

1. Select your Tube and Mask minimize them for now.

2. Open a new 700x700 transparent image

Selections/select all

Select Paper 4 from the kit edit/copy

Edit/paste into selection on your image

Selections/select none

3. Layers/new mask layer/from Image

Select Your Mask in the window

Source Luminance Checked

Invert mask data Not checked

Click Ok

Layers palette/right click mask/merge/merge group

4. Layers Palette Right click your mask Layer

duplicate Make the duplicate layer is selected

right click merge down.

Do not add a drop shadow

5. Select frame 1 from the kit edit/copy

Edit/paste as new layer into your image

Re-size 75%

Apply drop shadow

Use the settings below through out the tutorial

6.Using Magic Wand (settings Below)

Click inside your frame Window

Selections Modify/Expand 10

Keep selected

7. In layers palette right click on mask layer

Add New raster Layer

Select paper 1 from the kit edit/copy

Edit/paste/ into selection in your image

Selections Select none

8. Select element 37 from the kit edit/copy

Edit/paste as new layer into your image

Re-size 45%

Apply same drop shadow

Move to top left side of frame

Duplicate/mirror

9. Select element 58 from the kit edit/copy

Edit/paste as new layer into your image

Re-size 80%

Apply same drop shadow

Move to Top of the frame centered

10. Select element 33 from the kit edit/copy

Edit/paste as new layer into your image

Do not re-size

Apply same drop shadow

Move to top of frame centered

11. Select element 81 from the kit edit/copy

Edit/paste as new layer into your image

Re-size 35%

12.Select your Lasso Free hand Tool

(settings on image below)

Start from left bottom of snow angling as you move towards

top Making the selection around the corner 

Once selected hit delete on your keyboard.

Move snow down to left bottom corner of frame 

13.Layers palette right click snow duplicate it

Image/mirror

You may have to adjust it some but you want

the snow to meet in the middle

Layers palette right click/merge down

14. Layers right click duplicate

Re-size snow 80%

move the snow to left you want it to go a

little past your mask.

15. Image/mirror

Layers palette right click merge/merge down

Do not add drop shadow

Now click on original snow to select it

16. Select element 75 from the kit edit/copy

Edit/paste as new layer into your image

Re-size 85%

Apply same drop shadow

Move to

17. Select element 62 from the kit edit/copy

Edit/paste as new layer into your image

Re-size 65%

Apply same drop shadow

Move to the left side of your frame

18. Select element 94 from the kit edit/copy

Edit/paste as new layer into your image

Re-size 30%

Apply same drop shadow

Move to the bottom left side of your image

19 .Select your tube edit/copy

Edit/paste as new layer into your image

Re-size as needed I rdid not re-size

Apply same drop shadow

Move to the right side of your frame slightly.

I also mirrored mine

20. Select element 14 from the kit edit/copy

Edit/paste as new layer into your image

Re-size 45%

Apply same drop shadow

Move to bottom right side of image

21. Re-size your image to desired size

Make sure to select all layers

I re-sized mine to 600x600

Now do all the following

Add any text you wish to

Add copyrights and your watermark if you wish to

Save your image in png format (do no use optimizer it will

Put a background into the image

6. Using magic wand click inside the frame

Place slightly to the left of center

15. Select Ornament 6 from the kit edit/copy
Edit/paste as new layer into your image
Re-size 35%

Move to the left bottom corner of frame

16. Re-size your image all layers if you want to.

17. Apply your text at this time

18. Add a new raster layer apply credits and watermarks

19. Layers palette/right click any layer/merge/merge visible

20. Save you image in png form

1. Select and open your Tube and Essex Girls ripple back-frame mask minimize them for now

2. Open a new transparent image 700x550
We will re-size this
Selections/select all

3. Select Paper 7 from the kit edit/copy
Edit/paste into selection on your image

4. Layers/new mask layer/from image
Select ripple back-frame in the window
(settings below_
Click ok
Layers palette/right click mask/merge/merge group
5. Select clock element 20 from the kit edit/copy
Edit/paste as new layer into your image
Re-size it 45%
Move it to top right side corner of mask


6. Effects/3d drop shadow
(settings below)

7. Select branch element 76 Edit/copy
Edit/paste as new layer into your image
Re-size it 60%
Apply same drop shadow
Move to right bottom side of image

8. Layers palette right click branch duplicate 1 time
Image/mirror
Now duplicate this branch 1 time
Image/flip
We will adjust later if we need to

9. Select frame element 9 edit/copy
Edit/paste as new layer into your image
Re-size it 80%
Apply drop shadow

10. Select magic wand (settings below)
Click inside the frame
Selections/modify/expand 11
Layers palette right click copy of raster 2 layer
Add a new raster layer

11. Select paper 12 from the kit edit/copy
Edit/paste into selection on your image
Selections/select none

12. Layers palette/right click raster 2 branch layer
arrange bring to top
Now adjust up onto the frame the bottom should fall
Right where the ball meets the small circle
Kind of follow the curve of the branch

13. Now move the two pine branches on the left apart
So that they are not touching move under frame a little more

14. Select element 55 gold pine from the kit edit/copy
Edit/paste as new layer into your image
Re-size it 50%
Image/free rotate 20.00 right boxes not checked
Apply same drop shadow move onto right side pine branch

15. Select ribbon element 66 from the kit edit/copy
Edit/paste as new layer into your image
Re-size it 50%
Apply same drop shadow
Move onto top left side of ball frame

16. Layers palette/right click ribbon/duplicate 1 time
Move this on to the right branch towards the bottom of it

17. Select gold balls element 50 Edit/copy
Edit/paste as new layer into your image
Re-size 70%
Apply same drop shadow
Move to top left side of frame

18, Select candle element 29 edit/copy
Edit/paste as new layer into your image
Re-size it 60%
Apply same drop shadow
Place on bottom right side of image below the branch

19. Select paper roll element 42 from the kit edit/copy
Edit/paste as new layer into your image
Re-size it 60%
Apply same drop shadow
Move to bottom right side of image

19. Pull up your tube now edit/copy
Edit/paste as new layer into your image
Re-size as needed I re-sized 85%

20. Re-size your image to your likening
I re-sized width 550 height will adjust

21. Apply your text, copyrights and watermark

22. You may want to merge visible.
I never do cause it automatically does it when you save in png

14. At this time I re-sized all layer smart size to 500x500

15. Apply any text that you would like

Edit/paste as new layer into your image
Re-size it 55%

7. Effects/3D/Drop Shadow

8. Select Element 4 floral Edit/copy above wreath layer

Apply same drop shadow
Move to top right side of wreath

9. Layers palette/right click floral duplicate 1 time

Center it in the wreath

13. Select Element 47 ball Edit/copy
Edit/paste as new layer into your image
Re-size it 35%
Apply same drop shadow
Place center right side of wreath

14. Select Element 66 gingerbread/ball Edit/copy
Edit/paste as new layer into your image
Re-size it 35%
Apply same drop shadow
Place on right side below other ball

15. Select Element 19 candle floral Edit/copy
Edit/paste as new layer into your image
Re-size it 35%
Apply same drop shadow
Center at bottom of wreath and tube

16. Add Your Text Now and Name now

17. Select your crop tool crop in close around image
Cutting off access paper
If you want to re-size image do so now
I re-sized mine so width was 475

18. Image/add borders symmetric checked
Size 3
Use dropper choose Light color
Repeat add border use dropper
choose dark color from image
Repeat add border use same light color

19. Apply your copyrights and watermark

20. Save your image in jpeg

Edit/paste as new layer into image above raster 1 layer
Re-size 20%
Apply same drop shadow
Move to top left side of wreath

9. Select Snowy tree (folder 4) in the kit 4 Edit/copy

Re-size it 15%, re-size again 85%
Apply same drop shadow
Move to bottom left side of wreath

11. Select winter bells (folder 4) in the kit Edit/copy
Edit/paste as new layer above merged layer
Re-size 15%
Apply same drop shadow
Move to right side of frame

12. Select Stocking (folder 4) in the kit Edit/copy
Edit/paste as new layer into image
Re-size it 25%
Apply same drop shadow
Place on left side of frame

13. Apply Your Text saying now and name if you want to add it

14. Add a new Raster layer apply copyrights, License and watermark.

15. I Re-sized my All layers, smart size to 450x450

ANIMATION
Open Animation Shop now minimize it for now

1. Select the Snow tree Layer
Layers palette right Click add a New raster Layer
Right click layer /Rename snow 1

2. Layers palette right Click snow 1 add a New raster Layer
Right click layer /Rename snow 2

3. Right Click snow layer 2/add a new raster layer
Right click layer /Rename it snow 3

4. Click back on Snow tree Layer
under your selections tab..
A. select all
B. select float
C. Select defloat.
Keep Selected

5. Select Snow 1 Layer
Effects/plugins/Vanderlee snowflakes
Apply settings below
Click eye and close off this layer

7. Click on snow layer 2
Apply Vanderlee snowflakes again
Change random seed to 250
Click ok
Click the eye close this layer

8. Click on Snow layer 3
Apply Vanderlee snowflakes again
Change random seed to 350
Click Ok
Selections/select none

9. Edit/copy/copy Merged
Take it to animation shop
Right click anywhere paste as new animation.

10. Back in PSP click eye close snow layer 3
Open snow layer 2
Edit/copy/copy merged
Take it to animation shop
Paste after frame 1

11. Back in PSP click eye close snow layer 2
Open snow layer 1
Edit/copy/copy merged
Take it to animation shop
Paste after frame 2

12. I did not change display times.
Save your animation now.

You must have a good working knowledge of the programs I use.

ITEMS NEEDED
TUBE: SHAWLI I purchased it at MPT but you can buy it HERE
KIT: Scraps and Tubes Oh Pretty Winter is PTU Tagger Kit HERE
FONT: Of your Choice, I used Vergennes
If you choose a different kit re-sizing may change.

READ BELOW BEFORE STARTING
Settings may differ slightly depending on your version.
Close original after you copy it unless I state otherwise.
Sharpen all re-sized items 1 time.
RE-SIZE only one layer unless other wise stated.
Refer to my image for placement of items.
Left click and right click refers to mouse buttons.
1. Open a new transparent image 700x700 do not fill.

2. Select frame 1 from the kit, Edit/copy,
Edit/paste as new layer into your image.
Under selections do the following.
A. select all,
B. select float.
C. Select defloat.
D modify expand 3

4. Add a new raster Layer under your frame.
Select paper 3 from the kit. Edit/copy,
Edit/paste into selection.
Selections/Select none.

5. Effects/3D/drop shadow
Vertical and horizontal 2
Opacity 70
Blur 5.00
color black
Shadow on new layer not checked
Go Back and apply the drop shadow again
but change the Vertical and horizontal to -2

6. Click back on your frame apply drop shadow.
Change vertical and Horizontal back to 2.
Close off your background Layer,
Layers palette/Right click frame layer/Merge/merge Visible.

7. Select your magic wand click
(settings below) inside the frame window.
Selections/modify/Expand 12.
Add a New raster layer below the merged frame layer.
Select paper 2. Edit/copy,
Edit paste into selection. Selections/Select none. 8. Select your tube, Edit/copy,
Edit/paste as new layer into your image below your frame.
Re-size as needed. I did not re-size
Apply drop shadow
center it in your frame. .

9. Layers palette/right click tube/duplicate 1 time
layers palette drag this layer above your frame.
Use your eraser tool to remove any parts that hide your frame

10. In layers palette click the eye to close the background layer.
Now right click any open layer merge/merge visible.

11. Select the holly from the kit, Edit/copy,
Edit/paste as new layer into your image.
Re-size it 60%.
Apply same drop shadow
Arrange on the top left side of your frame.
You want it slightly under your frame.


12. Layers palette/right click Duplicate the holly layer 1 time,
Image/mirror.
In your layers palette Drag this layer below your merged layer.
Click back on the holly
Layers palette/right click Duplicate it 1 time
Image/flip
drag this below your merged layer

13. Select snowflake 2 from the kit Edit/copy,
Edit/paste as new layer into your image.
Re-size it 70%.
Apply drop shadow, but change the color to dark gray.
Arrange on the top left side below your holly.

14. Layers palette/right click Duplicate the snowflake 1 time
Image/mirror
drag it below you frame layer.
Click back on the snowflake on the left duplicate it 1 time
Image/flip move it to the right side of your holly.
Drag it down under your frame.

15. Select bow 1 from the kit. Edit/copy
Edit/paste as new layer into your image
Re-size it 50%.
Image/mirror.
Apply same drop shadow
Place on right top corner

16. Select the x-mas tree from the kit, Edit/copy
Edit/paste as new layer into your image.
Re-size it 65%.
Apply drop shadow change color back to black
Move it to the right side of your frame

17. Select #7c3f3f color in your
foreground background color.

18. Select your text tool (settings below)
Type our your top saying. Size it with your nodes.
Place it at the top. Covert it to a raster layer.
Apply same drop shadow color black.
Now do the same for your bottom saying.




19. Add your water marks and copy rights.
layers palette right click any layer merge/merge visible.
Re-size all layers/smart size to 400 width height will adjust.

20. Select the Christmas lights from the kit.
Edit/paste as new layer into your image.
Re-size 45%. Apply drop shadow.
Move it to the top some. Refer to my image.
Layers palette/right click Duplicate 1 time
Image/flip.
Right click duplicate in layers palette merge/merge down.

21. Now duplicate your Lights layer 1 time.
In layers palette close off the duplicate.

22. Merge Visible. Under selections do the following.
A. select all,
B. select float.
C. Select defloat.
D modify expand 3

23. Using your dropper tool select the tan color from your frame.
Click on your background layer (make sure to open if closed).
Flood fill the selection.
Selections/select none.
Right Click your merged image in layers palette merge/merge down.
You should now have 2 layers.
Your merged image and the closed Lights layer your duplicated.

24. Now open back up the duplicate copy of your lights.
duplicate this layer 2 times.
You should now have 3 lights layer.


ANIMATION
Open your animation shop and minimize for now. I will call it AS
1. Staring with your Top Light Lights Layer
Effects/Plugins/Xenoflex2 Constellations
(settings below)
Click ok.
Close off this layer by clicking eye in layers palette.



2. Select the middle Light layer.
Apply the Xenoflex2 constellations again
click random seed one time
click ok.
Close off this layer.

3. Select the bottom Lights layer.
Apply the Xenoflex2 constellations again
click random seed one time
click ok.

4. Edit/copy Merged.
Take it to AS right click anywhere in the workspace
paste as new animation.

5. Back in PSP close off your bottom lights layer.
Open the middle lights layer.
Edit/copy Merged.
Take it to AS.
Right click first frame paste/paste after current layer.

6. Back in PSP close off your middle lights layer.
Open the top lights layer.
Edit/copy Merged.
Take it to AS.
Right click first frame paste/paste after current layer.

7. Now save your animation. I did not change the display time.

FONT: Font of your choice I used Glastonbury Wide Shadow HERE
MASK: Narah_mask_Esfera010 site unknown, will be happy to add link

If you choose a different kit re-sizing may change.

1. Select your tube and the Narah_mask_Esfera010 from my supplies minimize for now.

2. Open a new transparent image 600x600 do not fill this layer yet.

3. Add a new raster Layer,
Selections/Select All
Select Paper 17 from the kit. Edit/copy,
Edit paste into Selection.
Selections/Select None.

4. Layers New Mask Layer/from Image Select the mask in the window.
source luminance/checked Invert mask data/unchecked
Click OK

5. Layers palette/ Right click black/white mask layer Delete/click yes.
When the next pop up window comes up select Yes
Right click mask layer Merge/merge group.

6. Select Frame Element 84 from the kit, Edit/copy,
Edit/paste as new layer into your image.
Do not Re-size it.
Center in your Mask.

7. With your magic wand (settings below) click inside of your frame.
Selections/modify/Expand 4.
Keep selected.

8. Layers Palette/Right click on your mask layer/add a new raster Layer
Select Paper 02 from the Kit Edit/copy,
Edit/paste into selection.
Selections/Select None.

9. Now Click back on your Frame Layer Effects/3D/drop shadow
Vertical and horizontal 2
Opacity 70
Blur 5.00
color black
Shadow on new layer not checked

10. Select your Tube, Edit/copy,
Edit/paste as new layer into your image below your frame.
Center in your frame.

11. Layers palette/right click/Tube Layer duplicate1 time
Right click it in layers palette Arrange/bring it to the top.
Using your eraser tool erase any parts hiding the bottom of your frame.
Now Click back on Tube below frame and apply your drop shadow.


12. Select Bow Element 10 from the kit. Edit/copy,
Edit/paste as new layer into your image as top layer.
Re-size it 75%.
Place it on the Right side of your frame towards the top.
Apply same drop shadow.

13. Select Flower element 23 from the kit, Edit/copy,
Edit/paste as new layer into your image.
Re-size it 70%.
Place it centered at the bottom of your frame.
Apply same drop shadow.

14. Select the candy cane element 55 from the kit, Edit/copy,
Edit/paste as new layer into your image.
Re-size it 75%.
Move it to the right side of your frame In between the bow and Flower.
Apply same drop shadow.

15. Select your dropper tool
left click mouse/foreground color
right click mouse/background color.
select a color from you image

16. Select your Text tool a font of your Choice
I used Glastonbury Wide Shadow.
Type out your Name.
Use your nodes to size it like you want
then rotate bar to rotate the text to the Left.
layers palette/right click/ convert to raster layer

17. Still on your text layer under selections tab do all of the following..
A. select all,
B. select float.
C. Select defloat.
D modify expand 2

18. Add a new raster layer under your text layer.
Select white in your foreground color
flood fill the selection
. Selections/select none

19. Now add your copyrights and watermark.
You want these placed close in to your image.
Close off your background layer and merge Visible.

20. Still on merged Layer under selections tab do all of the following..
A. select all,
B. select float.
C. Select defloat.
D modify expand 3 (keep selected)

21. Add a New Raster Layer under your merged layer.
Select the color whit in your foreground Color and flood fill the selection.
Selections/select none.

22. Select Christmas Ball elements 39 and 40, Starting with Ball 40 Edit/copy,
Edit/paste as new layer into your image. Until you have both ball inserted into image.
Re-size the both 85%
Move them to the left side of your frame one below the other.
Apply Same drop shadow.

23. Select top Christmas ball layers palette/Right click/Merge/merge down.

24. Image/re-size all layers/smart size width 400 height will adjust.
Close off your Christmas Ball Layer.
layers palette/right click/merge/merge visible
you should now have 2 layers.

ANIMATION
open your Animation Shop minimize it for now

1. Duplicate your Christmas Ball layer 2 times
Now close top and middle layers

2. Select your Bottom Layer under selections tab do all of the following
A. select all
B. select float
C. Select defloat.
Keep Selected until I say to dis-select

3. Effects/Plugins/VM Natural Sparkle
(Settings Below)

4. Select your Middle Ball Layer.
Apply your Sparkle again same settings But change your Random Seed to 135.
In your layers Palette click the eye and close this layer.

5. Select your Top Ball Layer.
Apply your Sparkle again same settings
But change your Random Seed to 150.
In your layers Palette click the eye and close this layer.
Selections/select none

6. Now only your Merged layer and Bottom ball layer should be open.
Edit/Copy merged.

7. take it to animation shop
right click anywhere in your workspace Paste as new animation

8. Back in your PSP close off your Bottom Ball Layer
Open your Middle Ball layer
Edit/copy merged

9. Take it to animation shop
Right click first frame Paste/paste after current Frame

10. Back In PSP close off your middle Ball layer
Open your Top Ball Layer, Edit/copy merged

11. Take it to animation shop
right click paste/paste after current frame.

12. Save your Image, I did not change my display times.
