Corel X2 or Corel 7 (any program can be used)

Jasc Animation Shop Only if Tutorial has animation.

You must purchase this tube HERE

KIT: White Christmas by Scraping Designs HERE

MASK: Allison's Addictions Mask #6 HERE

FONT: Of your choice

READ BELOW BEFORE STARTINGSettings may differ slightly depending on program you use I used Corel X2

Close original after you copy it unless I state otherwise.

 Re-size only one layer

Sharpen after Each Re-size.

Left click and right click refers to mouse buttons.

Refer to my image for placement of items.

Now Lets Start

1. Select your Tube and Mask minimize them for now.

2. Open a new 700x700 transparent image

Selections/select all

Select Paper 4 from the kit edit/copy

Edit/paste into selection on your image

Selections/select none

3. Layers/new mask layer/from Image

Select Your Mask in the window

Source Luminance Checked

Invert mask data Not checked

Click Ok

Layers palette/right click mask/merge/merge group

4. Layers Palette Right click your mask Layer

duplicate Make the duplicate layer is selected

right click merge down.

Do not add a drop shadow

5. Select frame 1 from the kit edit/copy

Edit/paste as new layer into your image

Re-size 75%

Apply drop shadow

Use the settings below through out the tutorial

6.Using Magic Wand (settings Below)

Click inside your frame Window

Selections Modify/Expand 10

Keep selected

7. In layers palette right click on mask layer

Add New raster Layer

Select paper 1 from the kit edit/copy

Edit/paste/ into selection in your image

Selections Select none

8. Select element 37 from the kit edit/copy

Edit/paste as new layer into your image

Re-size 45%

Apply same drop shadow

Move to top left side of frame

Duplicate/mirror

9. Select element 58 from the kit edit/copy

Edit/paste as new layer into your image

Re-size 80%

Apply same drop shadow

Move to Top of the frame centered

10. Select element 33 from the kit edit/copy

Edit/paste as new layer into your image

Do not re-size

Apply same drop shadow

Move to top of frame centered

11. Select element 81 from the kit edit/copy

Edit/paste as new layer into your image

Re-size 35%

12.Select your Lasso Free hand Tool

(settings on image below)

Start from left bottom of snow angling as you move towards

top Making the selection around the corner 

Once selected hit delete on your keyboard.

Move snow down to left bottom corner of frame 

13.Layers palette right click snow duplicate it

Image/mirror

You may have to adjust it some but you want

the snow to meet in the middle

Layers palette right click/merge down

14. Layers right click duplicate

Re-size snow 80%

move the snow to left you want it to go a

little past your mask.

15. Image/mirror

Layers palette right click merge/merge down

Do not add drop shadow

Now click on original snow to select it

16. Select element 75 from the kit edit/copy

Edit/paste as new layer into your image

Re-size 85%

Apply same drop shadow

Move to

17. Select element 62 from the kit edit/copy

Edit/paste as new layer into your image

Re-size 65%

Apply same drop shadow

Move to the left side of your frame

18. Select element 94 from the kit edit/copy

Edit/paste as new layer into your image

Re-size 30%

Apply same drop shadow

Move to the bottom left side of your image

19 .Select your tube edit/copy

Edit/paste as new layer into your image

Re-size as needed I rdid not re-size

Apply same drop shadow

Move to the right side of your frame slightly.

I also mirrored mine

20. Select element 14 from the kit edit/copy

Edit/paste as new layer into your image

Re-size 45%

Apply same drop shadow

Move to bottom right side of image

21. Re-size your image to desired size

Make sure to select all layers

I re-sized mine to 600x600

Now do all the following

Add any text you wish to

Add copyrights and your watermark if you wish to

Save your image in png format (do no use optimizer it will

Put a background into the image

You must purchase this tube HERE.

KIT: FTU Torn Affection by Candy’s Treat Here

MASK: Gem’s Mask 115 Here

FONT: Of your choice

READ BELOW BEFORE STARTING
Settings may differ slightly depending on program you use I use x2

Close original after you copy it unless I state otherwise.

RE-SIZE only one layer and sharpen once if needed

Left click and right click refers to mouse buttons.

Refer to my image for placement of items.

Now Lets Start

1.  Select your Tube and Gem’s Mask 115 minimize them for now

2. Open a new 700x700 transparent image (we will re-size Later)

Selections/select all

Select Crumpled Paper 3 from the kit edit/copy

Edit/paste into selection on your image

Selections/select none

3.  Layers/new mask layer/from Image

Select Mask in the window

(see other settings below)

Click Ok

4. Layers palette/right click mask/merge/merge group

5. Select folded 2 (paper) from the freebie Folder edit/copy

Edit/paste as new layer into your image

Re-size 60%

Image/free Rotate 10.00 Left

Boxes are not checked

Now move up towards the top some

6.  Effect/3D/Drop Shadow

(see settings below)

Click OK

7.  Select crushed tag 4 from the kit’s element folder

edit/copy

Edit/paste as new layer into your image

Re-size 60%

Repeat Rotate

Apply same drop shadow

Move to bottom right side of mask.

8.  Select Torn element from the kit edit/copy

Edit/paste as new layer into your image

Re-size 60%

Apply same drop shadow

Place it on the left side of the tag

9. Select the stitched line 2 from the kit edit/copy

edit/paste as new layer into your image

re-size it 45%
image/free rotate 10.00 left

apply same drop shadow

move to the bottom of the tag

10.  Select staples from original elements folder

 edit/copy

Edit/paste as new layer into your image

Re-size 50%

Apply same drop shadow

Place them on the torn element and tag

11. Select heart 3 from the original element folder edit/copy

Edit/paste as new layer into your image

Re-size 90% 

Image/free rotate Left 10.00

Apply same drop shadow

Move to the top some

12.  Select heart 2 from the kit edit/copy

Edit/paste as new layer into your image

Re-size 85%

Image/ free rotate 10.00 right

Apply same drop shadow

Move to the top some See my image

13. Using magic wand (settings below)

click inside the hearts window

selections/modify/expand 10

Layers palette/right click on the first heart/ add new raster layer

(wand settings)

 

14. Select Crumpled 4 paper from the kit edit/copy

Edit/paste into selections on your image

Selections/select none

15.  Select your Tube edit/copy

Edit/paste as new layer into your image

Re-size as needed. I re-sized mine 75%

Arrange to your likening then erase any parts below frame

Apply same drop shadow

16. Layers palette/duplicate tube 1 time

Layers palette arrange/bring it to the top

Erase any parts hiding your frame

17. Select the distressed ribbon (brown) from the kit edit/copy

Edit/paste as new layer into your image

Re-size 70%

Move towards the bottom of the frame

I used my warp brush to push the ribbon in next to the frame

Apply same drop shadow

(warp settings)

18. Select fold  from the kit edit/copy

Edit/paste as new layer into your image

Re-size 50%

Apply same drop shadow

Move to the top right side of your frame.

19. Select bow 7 from the freebie folder edit/copy

Edit/paste as new layer into your image

Re-size 45%

Apply same drop shadow

Move to the top placing over top of fold

20. Select staples from the kit edit/copy

Edit/paste as new layer into your image

Re-size 55%

Apply same drop shadow

Move to top left side of your image so that is over both hearts

21. Select button 1 from the kit edit/copy

Edit/paste as new layer into your image

Re-size 50%

Apply same drop shadow

Move to the left bottom side next to the heart sqaure

 

22. Select flower with gem 2 from the kit edit/copy

Edit/paste as new layer into your image

Re-size 35%

Apply same drop shadow

Move to the bottom left side above the button

23. Select flower with gem from the kit edit/copy

Edit/paste as new layer into your image

Re-size 35%

Apply same drop shadow

Move to the bottom left side above the button

Do all of the following to finish up

1. Add your text that you wish to

2. Layers/right click/merge/merge/visible

3. Re-size your image 500x500, all layers Smart Size.

4. Adjust sharpen

5. Add a New Layer apply copyrights and watermark

6. Save your image in png format

MASK: BBD_2013 mask 221 at the bottom of tutorial

FONT: Of your choice

RE-SIZE only one layer and sharpen once if needed

Now Lets Start

1.  Select your Tubes and mask minimize them for now

Open the Palette in Preview and TOU folder

Using dropper tool left click to select foreground color

2. Open a new 700x600  transparent image

Flood fill raster 1 with your foreground color

Adjust add noise 10%

Gaussian and Monochrome checked

3.  Layers/new mask layer/from Image

Select BBD-2013 Mask221 in the window

(see other settings below)

Click Ok

4. Layers palette/right click mask/merge/merge group

 

5.  Select wire from the kit edit/copy

Edit/paste as new layer into your image

Re-size 80%

Leave in center of mask

6.  Effects 3D drop shadow

(settings below)

7.  Select flowers 02 from the kit edit/copy

Edit/paste as new layer into your image

Re-size 50%

Use the eraser and removed the stem

8. Image/mirror

Image/free rotate 15.00 right

Apply same drop shadow

Move to right side of your image

9. Select the notepaper from the kit edit/copy
edit/paste as new layer into image
re-size 65%
Image/free rotate
move to the left side of the image
apply same drop shadow

10. Select your close up tube Edit/copy

edit/paste a new layer

re-size as needed I re-sized 65%

Image/free rotate/ 15.00 left

Apply same drop shadow

Move to the left onto journal paper

11.  Select Frame 2 from the kit edit/copy

Edit/paste as new layer into your image

Re-size 40.00 %

Image/free rotate 15.00 right

Move to the right side of image onto the flowers

Apply same drop shadow

12. Using magic wand click inside the frame window

(wand settings below)

Selections/modify expand 7

Layers palette click on notepaper layer/add a new layer

Flood fill with your foreground color

Selections/select none

Adjust/add noise

13.  Select heart 3 from the kit edit/copy

Edit/paste as new layer into your image

Re-size 40%

Apply same drop shadow

Move to the left side of frame

14. Select charms from the kit edit/copy

Edit/paste as new layer into your image

Re-size 60%

Apply same drop shadow

Move to the right till the chain is on the frame 

15. Select the key  from the kit edit/copy

Edit/paste as new layer into your image

Re-size 75%

Apply same drop shadow

Move to far top left side of your image

16. Select bow 01 from the kit edit/copy

Edit/paste as new layer into your image

Re-size 35%

Image/mirror

Apply same drop shadow

Move to top right side of the frame

17. Select parfum from the kit edit/copy

Edit/paste as new layer into your image

Re-size 35%

Apply same drop shadow

Move to bottom right side of frame

18. Select your full tube kit edit/copy

Edit/paste as new layer into your image

Re-size as needed

Apply same drop shadow

Move to the right in front of your frame

19. Add your text now.

20. Re-size your image if you wish to all layers Smart Size.

21. Add a New Layer apply copyrights and watermark

22. Save your image in png format

No drop shadow used

 5.  Select element 3 book page from the kit edit/copy

Edit/paste as new layer into your image

Re-size 25%

 continue to next step

6. Selections/select all/ Selections/float

Selections/defloat

Right click book layer/add new raster layer

Select your close up tube Edit/copy

Edit/paste into selection

Selections/select none

7.  In layer palette change blend to Luminance Legacy

right click close up tube/merge/merge down

Image/free rotate 10.00 left (no boxes checked)

8. Effect/3D/Drop Shadow

(see settings below)

Click OK

9.  Select your full tube edit/copy

Edit/paste as new layer into your image

Re-size as needed, I re-sized mine 75%

Apply same drop shadow

Move slightly to the right 

10. Select Element 16 heart from the kit

edit/copy, edit/paste as new layer into your image

re-size it 15% then 85%

Apply same drop shadow

Move to the top right corner of the book page

11. Select Element 2 Key from the kit

edit/copy, edit/paste as new layer into your image

re-size it 15% then 85%

Apply same drop shadow

Move to the top right corner of the book page

12. Select Element 4 ribbon from the kit

edit/copy, edit/paste as new layer into your image

re-size it 15%

Image/mirror

Apply same drop shadow

Move it to the top right corner of  book page

13. Select element 30 floral from the kit edit/copy

Edit/paste as new layer into your image

Re-size 20%

Apply same drop shadow

Move to the left side of your book

14.  Select element 11 spiral wood from the kit edit/copy
